Graduated in Architecture at São Paulo University, first started working as an intern with educational CD-ROMs at Byte & Brothers. After a passage at web agency Tribo Interactive, where worked as art director for websites, joined TVPinguim, where acted as animator and designer, producing TV series, commercials and websites, mostly for cultural and educational purposes. At the same worked as freelancer as animator and designer for MTV brasil, Kondo Studio, among other clients.
In 2004 went to Sheridan College in Canada to study at their Computer Animation program. In 2005 joined animator Paulo Muppet to create Birdo Studio, where is partner and animation director.
Besides animating and drawing, crochets and is Artur´s mom. |

Paulo discovered the animation world in 1998, while studying Advertising in Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in São Paulo. After graduating and going through an internship at the brazilian studio Cinema Animadores, he worked as an animator for web series at the creative agency Tribo Iteractive. From there he moved to work as a freelancer for several companies in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro animating for commercials, music videos and series for clients such as Unicef, Nestlé, Universal, and other brazilian TV networks.
In 2005, partnered with his friend and colleague Luciana Eguti to collaborate creatively in innovative animation projects under the name of Birdo.
In his free time, he plays videogames and reads books about monkeys.
