We are very proud to be part of one of the pioneering interactive storytelling projects in the world, the Storytron, headed by Chris Crawford, a privileged mind who left game design to dedicate himself to the philosopher’s stone of the electronic art/entertainment.
The software allows intrepid authors to create and populate with very dramatic actors their interactive storyworlds, and of course, to play the stories created by others, needed some kind of visual clue to indicate the over a hundred emotions of the computer controlled characters. Hence the “emoticubes” created by Birdo Studio, little cubes inspired by the omnipresent emoticons but with a lot more expressions. Have a look at two versions in this page.
