Another educational film made for São José do Rio Preto's Science and Technology Academy, "Sickle Cell Anemia" explains the inner workings of the disease on cellular level and uses the cartoon language to simplify and clarify the intricate biochemical mechanisms involved in the process.

The film is aimed at advanced students of medicine and biochemistry, but also serves to anyone who ever wondered how would be the face of a hemoglobin.
